How do you accept donations on Dare to Dance night?

All credit cards, checks and cash are accepted for donations. An ATM is located inside the Convention Center but not inside the Exhibit Hall.

How do I VOTE?

Every vote counts and can be the deciding factor in how your favorite couple placed in Dare to Dance. Cast your online vote for $1 a vote by clicking here. Votes will also be accepted on event night with cash, checks and credit card at the Voting Station. You can also call The Kidney Foundation at 423-265-4397 to vote by phone.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes, all online, cash, check and credit card donations are tax deductible. All Sponsor levels will be sent tax deduction information post event. Call 423-265-4397 for more information.

If I am unable to attend after my table purchase, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately all sales are final and no refunds will be given. Tickets can be transferred to other guests.


Is Dare to Dance a Kid Friendly event?

Dare to Dance is geared more towards adults but children accompanied by an adult are always welcome. There is no separate ticket price for children and everyone must have a seat.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Yes, all seating options are wheelchair accessible at Dare to Dance.

What is the policy of photos and filming?

We encourage you to take photos and videos during the event. We ask you respect all guests at the event to not prohibit their view with your attempt to capture photos or videos. The Kidney Foundation will have professionals on site taking photos and videos. All professional photos and dance performances videos will be shared to Facebook post event.

All professional photographers wanting to photograph the event must be approved by The Kidney Foundation. Please call 423-265-4397 for approval.

How do I get tickets for Dare to Dance?

Individual tickets are not sold to Dare to Dance. Everything is sold as a table of 4. Dare to Dance Table Sponsors are available in June and will be available until August or until the ballroom is filled. All Sponsors will receive marketing benefits through Dare to Dance. Once the Sponsor period has closed the Kidney Foundation team will open up any remaining tables.

How many seats are at an event table?

All tables at Dare to Dance seat FOUR guests. This is to ensure all guests are facing the dance floor. Extra chairs are not able to be added to a table. Tables can be placed near each other with advance notice.

How can I guarantee a good table for Dare to Dance?

All tables are placed in the ballroom based on sponsor level. The top sponsor have the seats closest to the dance floor. There are 3 large monitor screens to ensure everyone in the ballroom has a great view on the dance floor.

Where does Dare to Dance take place?

Dare to Dance is hosted at The Chattanooga Convention Center in Exhibit Halls A & B. These exhibit halls are the furthest end from the Marriott Hotel. The Convention Center address is 1 Carter Street Chattanooga, TN 37402.

Where do I park for Dare to Dance?

There is a parking garage connected to The Chattanooga Convention Center and Marriott Hotel. There is also a limited amount of street parking available surrounding the Convention Center.

What do I wear to Dare to Dance?

Dare to Dance is a semi-formal to formal event. Men are encouraged to wear a jacket. Sport Coats & Tuxedos are welcome. Ladies wear cocktail to formal evening wear. And don’t forget your dancing shoes!
